About Us
ANTI PLANNERS is a collaborative venture by Natalia Moreno Arroyo, a Madrid born architect, photographer, and travel agent, and Chris Daigle, a US born engineer and avid golfer. Both are based in Berlin.
Q: How do your backgrounds shape the journeys you curate?
Natalia: I am an architect and photographer, born, educated, and trained in Spain, who has also lived and worked in Italy and Berlin. Having designed and completed several large scale architectural projects, my eye is trained on spatial soul, observing how natural materials, light, and structural details interact to make a hotel truly memorable. Because of this background, I hold our accommodations to incredibly high aesthetic standards, curating only those that are spatially and architecturally exceptional.
Chris: My programming and engineering background anchors the digital and organizational side of the company, keeping your travel seamless behind the scenes. On the golf side, having played since an early age, I’ve spent years exploring courses across the US and Europe. It taught me to notice the micro details that make a course great, the texture of the first cut, the scent of morning dew on the fairways, and how a course layout adapts beautifully to accommodate a certain skill level.
Q: Why did you name the company ANTI PLANNERS?
Natalia: We watched family and friends use traditional travel agencies, and to be honest, we got fed up with it: the markups, the boring itineraries, and the crowded areas. We knew we could do better, at a reasonable cost. We want our trips to feel like you already know the city, knowing exactly where to stay and where to eat. Everything is well structured, but retains the absolute feeling of being unplanned.
